 Post Superbowl Party
Don Teets is still under the weather, so Don Deweese, of Resist-All Systems sits in again as host. Guests on the show were: “Smitty” from the Building Department of Punta Gorda, Dave Tressmer of Advantage Waste Industries Kevin Koch of After A Disaster There was a discussion of the dangers of going through a dumpster at a job site. In addition to the obvious hazards of puncture and cutting injuries, there is also the possible exposure to bio hazards at mold remediation job sites. Smitty spoke of the increase of new home permits he is seeing lately, which is a positive indicator. Kevin spoke of the decrease in cost of building materials, so it all points to this being a great time to build a new or remodel your existing home. Your dollars will go much farther than they did 3 short years ago.

The Doctor is out.
Due to illness, Don Teets, the House Doctor, was not available, so Don Deweese was sent is as a short term relief host. Guests on the show were: Ron Akers of Akers Painting and Decorating, and Gregg Brown of Gregg Electric. Both are members of the Premier Contracting Group. Ron shared the preparation steps necessary for quality paint jobs, both interior and exterior. Preparation is the most important part of any paint job, and Akers Painting and Decorating is meticulous in this area. Gregg spoke about custom sound systems for TV’s and homes. With the upcoming Superbowl, they have many requests for these services. They utilize testing equipment to maximize the experience for the home owner.
